I have two pacts with my best friends. 1. If any of us are ever in a coma, the remaining sentient friends will arrange for regular chin hair plucking. 2. We will never let each other respond to a bad review in public.
This made me cry. It happened back in May but I just read about it. As the press release says:
Despite the fact that one in three women will have an abortion in their lifetime, the subject is still not always openly, or honestly, discussed. While there is a lot of information about abortion available unfortunately not all of it is accurate or impartial. Marie Stopes International works to improve public understanding of unplanned pregnancy and abortion, and to help women make confident, informed sexual health choices.
I wish everyone had access to information and services for full reproductive freedom.
I’ve never been tempted to have a wedding, much less a wedding dance, but if I do this will be it.
There will be more on this, but a few links:
meloukhia has a post on the National Lawyer’s Guild legal observers program–be more than a witness, indeed.
jadelennox on ways to combat ableism–this was super helpful for me, as a non-techy person who wants to make her website accessible (has non-computer ideas too)
