Madonna and Sylvia Plath

I wonder if people made fun of Sylvia for developing a British accent while she  was living in England.

  1. It can’t be helped, even when you’re vacationing there… all of my friends that moved to England now speak with moderate English accents and patterns of speech. Even stranger is how they walk … the same way they drive opposite of how we walk. It is really disorienting when you’re in a confined space (like the Tube stations during peak traffic times). Poor Madge.
