I’m obsessed with Colman Pool in West Seattle. There are captions on the photos for a little more info. It’s a salt water pool at the tip of West Seattle, located in a National Park. It is Heaven, you walk through the forest to get there.

When you were a teeeeny baby you and your mom and dad came out…



When you were a teeeeny baby you and your mom and dad came out to visit me on Fire Island. Your dad brought his like 8-foot long surfboard and I was like, dude, I dont think you have seen the petite waves out here.


He and I, having grown up on the beach, were a little over-enthusiastic in teaching you water safety and there was a lot of “NEVER TURN YOUR BACK ON THE WATER" and then when we all went back up to the house for dinner you tried to walk backwards in the sand so you wouldn’t turn your back to the ocean. A waterbaby even then.
